Summary

Computerizes, classifies records, verifies and maintains numerical data for use in maintaining financial records by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions

Reviews all Invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to paymentPrints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checksDistributes signed checks as requiredMaintain postage accountAnswers all vendor inquiriesMaintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate payable filesJob costing knowledge/experienceReconciliation of monthly credit card accountsReconciliation of inventory accountsCompiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactionsVerifies and posts details of business transactions and total accounts to ledgers or spreadsheets and databasesPrepared payroll and enters information into Paycom; reconciles all documentationPrepare and process Independent Contractor compensationMonitors loans and accounts payable to ensure that payments are up to dateReconciles and recommends solutions for report discrepancies/issuesCoordinates and prepares pertinent information for external accounting auditorsCodes data for input to financial systems according to company proceduresAssists in monthly closings. Prepares analysis of accounts as required

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/BusinessMinimum of four years of related experience in accounting and/or equivalent combination of experience and educationExperience using accounting software (MAS90 preferred); Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Netsuite is preferred.Ability to think and reason out processes independentlyMust be able to understand the principles of accounting, along with common accounting standards and office proceduresAbility to clearly organize financial information, understand relevant laws, identify and fix any financial discrepancies, and perform mathematical equations accuratelyAbility to adhere to organizational confidentiality guidelines
