Jump Start Your Sales Promotions

I had an opportunity to interview Scott Joseph, president and CEO or J&L Marketing of Louisville, KY. Scott's company has pioneered some exciting advancements in direct mail advertising for dealer sponsored sales events. Dealing primarily with automobile and RV dealerships, J&L will deliver an overwhelming amount of people to your sales lot and manage the entire process. The key to their success is the sales process and being able to control the activity during the day of the sale.

Scott quoted some pretty impressive numbers for several RV dealerships who have contracted with his company to stage a spectacular sales event and increase traffic and sales far greater than a normal business day. The average investment is less than $8,000 for the total program and will vary depending on the size of the mailing and event.

One large big city dealer has held six promotions so far. At one event the dealer sold 58 RVs in a three day sale and came back two weeks later and held another sale, and sold another 63 RVs. Sounds like a very return on investment.
