Jr. Marketing Analyst
J&L Marketing is looking for a Junior Marketing Analyst who will aid in production and list execution, as well as process improvement and data analysis. Working directly under the Senior Marketing Analyst and Compiler, this position will provide a unique opportunity for growth and development in the field. This full time salaried position requires a minimal schedule of 9-6 Monday through Friday.
Job Description:
Responsible for assisting in pre-campaign development and analysis and post-campaign reporting and analysis of data findings. Will manage multiple direct mail lists and execute list pulls for direct marketing campaigns, as well as maintain contact with vendors and internal stakeholders. Must augment current lead and contact data with additional information to be used in segmentation (email address, industry, job level, and job function), execute data quality tasks relative to merging duplicate lead and contact records and appending contact records, and identify opportunities to improve business processes that impact data quality.
Will contribute to and adopt data quality best practices in alignment with other functional organizations, maintain lead and contact data quality process documentation, and lead data management team of two through execution, prioritization, and training. Junior Marketing Analyst will work with the company’s Marketing Analyst to provide information pertaining to current trends, needs, and obstacles, will learn how to integrate data into PDF variability, and will act as a liaison between the Marketing Analyst, the Compiler, and your team to confirm that the data is utilized to its full potential, as well as ensure that the data flow is efficient.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Math background preferred.
- 1-5 years experience with marketing, data quality, trend identification and data analysis experience.
- Familiarity with CRM, segmentation, data management, data measurements, and/or statistical analysis is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, problem-solve, and produce results.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply software is a must.
- Strong customer service focus, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and adhere to priorities with minimal direct supervision.

- FTP knowledge preferred
- XMPie knowledge preferred
- SAP Business Objects Data Quality Management software knowledge preferred
